Built for product teams, indie hackers, and dev-first SaaS

What LoopSignal does

LoopSignal gives product teams, indie hackers, and dev-first SaaS companies a simple way to collect feedback from real users in one place. Customers can submit ideas, vote on requests, and follow progress without digging through support tickets, email threads, or generic community forums. Your team gets a structured feedback board that makes it easier to spot repeated problems, understand demand, and decide what to build next. Instead of letting feedback live in one tool while engineering work lives in another, LoopSignal keeps the request, status, and delivery process connected.

How it works

Users can share feedback on a public board or through an embeddable widget, then vote on the ideas that matter most. Your team can review submissions, merge duplicates, moderate noise, and approve the requests that deserve action. Once a post is approved, LoopSignal can create or link a GitHub issue in the repository you choose, so engineering keeps working where issues, pull requests, and releases already happen. As work moves forward, LoopSignal keeps the customer-facing side updated with statuses, notifications, and a changelog that shows what shipped.

Why GitHub teams choose LoopSignal

LoopSignal is a strong fit for teams looking for a Canny alternative, a Featurebase alternative, or simply a lighter feedback tool for SaaS products. Unlike generic feedback forums, it is designed around execution, not just idea collection. The goal is to connect customer feedback directly to GitHub so product and engineering stay aligned without copying tickets by hand or maintaining a separate roadmap silo. That makes LoopSignal especially useful for small product teams that want a developer-friendly workflow, clearer prioritization, and a visible way to close the loop with users.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about LoopSignal.

How does LoopSignal work?
Sign up, create a project, and share your public feedback board with your users. They can submit feature requests and vote on ideas without creating an account. You review, prioritize, and manage everything from your dashboard.
What happens when I create a project?
You become the owner of that project. As the owner, you have full control: manage settings, moderate posts, invite team members, connect GitHub, and delete the project. Each project gets its own public board, changelog, and embeddable widget.
How do team roles work?
There are three roles: Owner, Admin, and Member. The project creator is the Owner with full access. Admins can manage posts, settings, and invite members. Members can view and interact with posts but can't change settings. You can invite team members by email from the project settings page.
Can my users submit feedback without creating an account?
Yes. Your public board and embeddable widget allow anyone to submit feedback and vote — no account needed. They just provide an optional email to get notified when the status of their request changes.
How does the GitHub integration work?
Connect your GitHub account in project settings, then select a repository. When you approve a feedback post, LoopSignal automatically creates a GitHub issue. When you close the issue on GitHub, the post is automatically marked as completed.
What's the difference between Starter and Pro?
Starter gives you up to 3 projects and 3 team members per project — everything you need to get started. Pro removes all limits, adds API access for programmatic integrations, and includes an analytics dashboard with detailed insights.
How does the free trial work?
Every new account gets 14 days of full Pro access. You can create unlimited projects, invite unlimited team members, and use all features. After the trial, choose a plan to continue. If your trial expires, your dashboard becomes read-only until you subscribe.
Can I embed the feedback widget in my app?
Yes. Go to your project settings and copy the embed snippet — it's a single script tag. Drop it into any website or web app and a feedback button appears for your users. It works with any framework: React, Vue, plain HTML, etc.
What is the public changelog?
Every project has a public changelog page that automatically shows posts marked as completed. It's a simple way to show your users what you've shipped based on their feedback, closing the loop.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Both Starter and Pro offer annual billing at a 17% discount (2 months free). You can switch between monthly and annual at any time from the billing page.
How do email notifications work?
When a user submits feedback, they're automatically subscribed to that post. When you change the workflow status (e.g., from 'Open' to 'Planned' or 'Completed'), they get an email notification. You can toggle project-level notifications on or off in settings.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export all posts as a CSV file from the project dashboard. The export includes titles, descriptions, votes, statuses, categories, and timestamps.
